Earlier this month, I headed to Paris to celebrate my birthday in style. In the stunning city of lights, I experienced a memorable stay filled with fine dining, opulent outfits, sightseeing, and plenty of content creation too.
Did the trip get off to the best start? Not exactly. My personal shopper had put together ten amazing outfits for Paris. However, these looks did not survive the visit to the tailor… Various pieces came back ruined, including my poor, pink Fendi x Skims dress that was covered in multiple rips and holes. But, as they say, the show must go on, and this mishap didn’t stop me from fulfilling my Parisian birthday plans.
To get to Paris, I hopped onto a morning Eurostar train which took me from St Pancras to Gare du Nord. This method is far more convenient than a plane as it sends passengers directly into the heart of the city. It was a smooth ride and my anticipation was high the entire journey. For my stay, I had a lifestyle suite waiting for me at the Le Royal Monceau hotel (Raffles Paris). So, it’s safe to say that I was excited.

And did the hotel deliver? Absolutely. On arrival, the staff pulled out all the stops to make me feel welcome. The room was filled with wonderful gifts, from the signed birthday card from all the staff to the pink balloons floating above my bed. I also adored receiving some beautiful flowers and a bottle of champagne to celebrate with.
Once I’d settled in, it was time to get ready to party. I got into my birthday ensemble styled by @Jxybelle which featured some incredible fuchsia Jimmy Choo heels with a matching bag. She also put me in a black, backless dress that was adorned with dazzling embellishments. All in all, this was a glitzy outfit suited for a high-spirited night out in the city.

@roussb.makeup was also there to apply my makeup. They opted for a glamorous look, applying brown, smoky eyes that I loved! For the hair, @fannybeauty styled my good hair “brass and copper” wig into an elegant up-do. This piece had also been customized especially by @eugenze, and it was the perfect way to complete my entire look.
The birthday celebrations began with a delicious meal at Matsuhisa Paris, the hotel’s contemporary Japanese restaurant. Afterward, I headed to Matignon to party, getting down to the various house tracks they blasted throughout the night. The celebrations did not stop there. In true Parisian fashion, the rest of my week involved dinner reservations at trendy dining spots like Verde and Caesars.
Of course, I couldn’t leave behind the chic, cobbled streets of Paris without having taken some beautiful content. @neipragency was there to help. They’d kindly hired me that new V class Maybach design (I was in love) to whisk me around the city.
Inside the magnificent Maybach, I listened to my favorite hip-hop tracks and drank champagne under the car’s twinkling, lit-up ceiling. I then hopped off at different stops to pose in front of iconic locations, from the magnificent Arc de Triomphe to the emblematic Eiffel Tower. During our shoot, I ran into some enthusiastic supporters whose excitement made my night. Then, after a chilly evening of sightseeing and content creation, I met up with some friends for one last party at L’arc.
So there we have it: my jam-packed birthday in Paris. The incredible hotel, the sightseeing, and the exquisite dining and club nights made for an unforgettable stay. Also, a big thank you to everyone who helped make my birthday feel extra special. It was a blast!
