Okay, guys, so another year has flown by and I can’t quite believe it. Where did the last few months go? Anyway, after reminiscing over the whirlwind that was 2021, I thought I’d share with you some of the amazing beauty products I used throughout the year (so listen up!) Whether they’re the key to glowing skin, vivid eyes, or plump lips, here are 5 beauty products I couldn’t live without in 2021:
For Revitalised Skin: Holland & Barrett’s Vitamin E Oil.
Yes, I know I’ve already mentioned this oil in a previous skincare post, but I can’t stress enough how effective it is. Vitamin E is an essential nutrient the body can’t produce by itself, so it’s important to get your supply from food or supplements instead. That’s why I highly recommend adding this product to your skincare regime.
It not only keeps your skin moisturized, but it protects your skin cells from oxidative stress (a.k.a., the nasty stuff leading to premature wrinkles and fine lines). Personally, I like topically applying this product morning and night. I’ll even use it as a makeup primer.
For Striking Eyes: Tom Ford Black Liquid Eyeliner.
Next up is this versatile liquid eyeliner from Tom Ford. If you’re in desperate need of a liner to define your eyes and make them pop, this is the product for you. First off, I love the rich shade of black. It’s a knockout.
Secondly, there’s plenty of ink in this liner so you don’t need to use a lot to make a killer eye look. As the pen is dual-ended, you can also easily create a variety of wings for day and night.
For Glowing Lips: Dior Addict Lip Glow in 001.
Now, you’ve probably heard a thousand times already how great Dior’s beauty products are. But, I have to say, I’m right on that bandwagon too. Seriously, go and check out their lip glow to see what I mean.
I love using their 001 pink shade. The oil is moisturizing, plumping, and shiny without being super sticky. It’s an absolute lifesaver if you’re on the go and your lips need some instant hydration. Unlike other lip oils, this one reacts with your lip’s moisture levels to control the color in a way that suits your skin tone. Amazing right?
For Glam Highlights: Dior Backstage Face & Body Liquid Highlighter.
Another one of my personal favorite Dior products is their backstage liquid highlighter. Helping you shine brightly and unapologetically, this highlighter has stunning pearlescent pigments designed to give you that runway model glow.
You can even put this highlighter on your body to draw attention to areas like your collar bones. So, definitely grab this highlighter if you want to glow like nobody’s business.
For A Refreshed Face: Mario Badescu Rose Water Spray.
Last, but absolutely not least, is the Mario Badescu rosewater spray. If you’re looking for a product you can refresh your face with after a hectic day, then it has to be this versatile spray. What’s more, it’s a sweet-smelling herbal extract, and the rosewater scent is to die for.
After washing my face, I love spritzing it onto a cotton pad and using it to wipe off any excess dirt before I apply my vitamin E oil. Some people I know also use it to set their makeup, so you could even give that a try too.
And that’s a wrap. Do you already use any of these products? If not, go and treat yourself for getting through 2021!
Until Next Time,
