Skims, But Make It High Fashion.

Naturally, when rumors of an unlikely collaboration between Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS and Kim Jones of Fendi surfaced I was excited and pretty much ready to drain my wallet to just try and snag a few things.

From leggings and crop tops to mini dresses, printed scarves, bomber jackets, bodycon jumpsuits, and even—my personal favorite — the hybrid Fendi x Skims logo hosiery, this 125-piece limited-edition capsule screams Kika. The mix of the rebellious, edgy, and seductive style of Fendi and the flirty femme aesthetic of Skims worked seamlessly together.

Fair warning though, these pieces are hella expensive. For example, the Fendi x Skims leather dress Kardashian wears in a photo as she attends the WSJ. Magazine 2021 Innovator Awards is priced at £3,500. Damn. All in all, the entire range is priced between £95-£3,500. With the insane demand, it’s safe to say that this release was a huge success.

For my look, @classcorneruk put together a casual but elegant look. Pairing the white Fendi Skims tights with a white Issey Miyake top, Oversized Studio skirt, & Other Stories coat, Tom Ford shoes, and a Dior python bag. I just love the way the fabrics work together. Soft, delicate, and edgy. The pastel color palette was an unexpected breath of fresh air.
