Hey guys! Here’s an all-new OOTD for you to enjoy. To create looks for a recent trip to Manchester, I went straight to @classcorneruk for their style expertise. In fact, they came over for a productive wardrobe styling session! So, I’m going to spill the details about one of my favourite looks they came up with. This one was a cute and casual ensemble for the city, featuring pieces from some of my go-to streetwear brands.
For the base of this look, we began with a grey bodysuit from Daily Paper. On top, we added another piece from the brand: a chocolate brown bomber jacket. With it’s lightweight material, this classic bomber was the perfect layering piece for this look, while the ribbed hem and cuffs kept the February breeze out.
Then, we paired the bodysuit and bomber with a pair of Bearded Genius joggers (an amazing east-meets-west brand I raved about in my previous post). The calm olive colour meshed well with the brown and grey of the Daily Paper pieces. For accessories, I wore my beloved Louis Vuitton Papillon Trunk Bag and my Linda Farrow Freya sunglasses that have a sleek, black acetate frame.
Now it’s sneaker time! For this look, we went for the highly coveted Fragment x Travis Scott Nike Jordan 1’s Low, an amazing pair we’d brought from @proxyeedlagos who are stocked up with some of the best sneakers from around the world! Contrasting with the rest of my outfit, these sneakers feature a splash of military blue covering the heel and insole.
For hair, I rocked the Good Hair ‘Natural & Proud’ wig which I’ve had for nine years — a real testament to its quality! Initially installed by @crownedbeauty_22, I tied the wig back into a sleek ponytail. The relaxed yet put-together hairstyle really embodied the overall mood of the outfit.
So… what do you think? I think this was a perfect look for Manchester. Thanks again to @classcorneruk for putting it together — streetstyle really can’t get better than this!
Until Next Time,
Lots of Love, Kika.
